After few days a new manager, named Kristin, transferred from a similar position for her proven talent, in the accounts payable section. Kristin was experienced and determined to do best. On the first day she introduce with all subordinates and asked for suggestions that how to perform better by doing team work. Suddenly Steven answered, ‘is there any opportunity to gain promotion by performing better’. Kristin answered she will do everything to get great feedback. On the next day, Kristin meets with Steven and said that she will not tolerate who are not good team players. So she asked to inform her that who are not working sincerely and hurting the company, if Steven not identify the person, it will be seemed to her that Steven is the problem maker.

  1. The case is about an ethical dilemma in an organization between a fresh worker who was unconcerned to perform his tasks and a new manger who was transferred from another subsidiary of the company who was an experienced manager and determinant to perform best and desire to success throughout her career. After arrival she introduced herself with all her subordinates and asking for suggestion to make better of the official environment.
The significant parties on the case are- Steven and Kristin. Steven is a staff of an organization in the accounts payable section. He is working for several years since his graduation. So he felt he learned everything inside and outside to survive in an organization. So he was not sincere of his work. On the other hand, Kristin is an experienced manager who transferred to same division from another branch of the company; she is motivated to perform best to get success.
